4G Router
In cases where neither LTE-M nor Ethernet are available TotaLite can provide a fallback option by using a Ubiquiti Industrial 4G-Router. This weatherproof device will be supplied by TotaLite and will come with an extensive manual explaining how to connect said device to the TotaLite sensor(s). You can read the manual here.
How to change Modem APN settings?
- Connect to the device: Plug an Ethernet cable from your computer into the UMR Industrial's LAN port.
- Access the local portal: Open a web browser and go to https://192.168.105.1.
- Log in: Enter your administrator password (default password is ui). If the default password doesn't work, contact TotaLite support by raising a request, we will promptly provide it for you.
- Navigate to SIM/APN settings: Look for the SIM card or cellular configuration section (often found under the Device tab or the second setup page depending on your firmware version).
- Enter APN parameters: Type in the custom APN address provided by your mobile carrier.
- Save and apply: Save your changes. The UMR Industrial will disconnect and reconnect to the cellular network within a few minutes.
