What happens when TotaLite is installed in the vicinity of conditions causing ground vibration (eg. highways, construction sites, heavy duty equipment etc.)
It can happen that the place chosen for mounting is not necessarily stable, this will reflect in the data.
For example, in the following, the TotaLite Sensor is installed next to a highway for monitoring, on a steel pole secured into sand.
As a consequence of the proximity to the highway and the high vibration conductivity of the sand, the tilt sensor installed in the TotaLite System detects vibrations when the highways is busy, starting from 5:30 AM until 11:00 PM when it gets less busy.
