What kind of Prisms is best to use for TotaLite Sensor?
The best prisms are standard L-bar with a prism >17mm in diameter, the brand of the prism doesn't really matter, the important is that the diameter of the prism is greater than 17mm.
The brand of the prism doesn't matter as all brands will work in a similar way. Having a prism with a diameter greater than 17mm will not add a range advantage to the specified 70 meters range, yet, it shouldn't be smaller than 17mm for optimal readings.
Other prisms that can work as well are cat-eye prisms and circular prisms, as long as the diameter is greater than >17mm, the prism is directly visible in the field of view of TotaLite Sensor and is pointed directly at the TotaLite Sensor.
Reflective stickers, rainproof prisms and 360 degree prisms are highly unadvised as they cannot be correctly processed by TotaLite Sensor.
