Essential Safety Information and Certification Compliance
It is important that any user responsible for installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of TotaLite has read this user guide in advance. Fugro Technology B.V., the OEM of TotaLite, shall not be held responsible for inconveniences, damage, or malfunctions due to lack of compliance with the prescriptions and suggested use in this manual.
General warnings:
- Do not extend the power cables provided with the TotaLite Sensor. The maximum length of 12V power cables is 3 metres to avoid exceeding the conducted emission limits.
- Batteries and equipment to be connected via the sensor data and power port must meet IEC 62368-1 ES1 and PS1 requirements.
Product Integrity and Handling:
- IP Rating Maintenance: The declared IP68 rating applies only when all covers are properly secured and connectors are sealed
- No Disassembly: Do not disassemble the product except when explicitly instructed - this voids warranty
- No Modifications: Do not attempt to repair or modify the product - contact support for all repairs
- Impact Protection: Protect from impacts, high vibrations, and mechanical shock during installation and operation
- Cleaning: Use only recommended cleaning camera materials and methods - avoid abrasive cleaners
- Transportation: Use proper packaging and handling procedures during transportation and storage
Operational Safety:
- Critical Applications: This product is not intended for use in applications where safety is extremely critical (medical devices, life-safety systems)
- Supervision: Do not operate in unsupervised environments or leave accessible to untrained personnel
- Weather Conditions: Do not operate in extreme weather conditions (thunderstorms, heavy snow, high winds)
- Radio Interference: Correct functioning in environments with high radio activity is not guaranteed
- EMC Compliance: Follow electromagnetic compatibility guidelines to prevent interference with other equipment

Compliance statement (part 15.19)
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules and to RSS of Industry Canada.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Warning (part 15.21)
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Information to the User (Part 15.105 (b))

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- -Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- -Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- -Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.
- -Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
